Use of technology in the classroom

How do I feel? - very tired. Not having enough time (I have to finish the course by February 15) pushes me to my limits and doesn't allow me to enjoy the learning process to the fullest. I just submitted my first 3 assignments.
What did I learn?- First, the course teaches me new life and learning skills- to stay focused, to work within a time frame, to set realistic goals and to stick to them.
The content of the covered material makes me reflect on the role of technology in the classroom, and the teacher’s need of on-going training. I realized that after overcoming the initial frustration, I actually enjoy doing research. I conducted a small survey in my class and found out the same tendencies – the young and educated students welcome CALL, however, the ones without formal schooling get headaches and refuse to use computers.
This course is helping me create a stronger bond with my students, as I am trying to involve them as much as possible in my studies.

  1. Hi Neli, I also have to finish by Feb 15 (TESLONTARIO PTCT - you too?)
The readings were interesting - I spent too much time on them, and on the writing...trouble is I don't have a model of how much, or how little to write...wasted time trying to post. GRRR.
Well, onto 2.2.....and linking the blogs...
